Lighthouse Charity Shops

LIM currently has three charity shops in the North West, in Chorlton, Withington and Tyldesley.

The purpose of the charity shops is to fund all the administrative side of LIM so that 100% of donations made directly to LIM will go entirely to meet the needs of the children we support in our projects in Romania, India & Africa. We successfully achieve this aim, and to date we have had sufficient profit from the shops to cover all our administrative costs and to contribute to the projects from the surplus.

The charity shops sell clothes, furniture toys and white goods (i.e. domestic electrical appliances such as fridges, washing machines, cookers)

All donations to the shops are welcome. You can donate:

• Clothing (clean & dry)
• Furniture (in good condition)
• Children’s Toys (in good condition)
• White Goods (in good working order)

Tyldesley: 127 Elliott Street, Tyldesley, Manchester M29 8FL

You can bring donated goods to the shops directly during opening hours (10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday) or you can arrange for our driver to collect from you. We also conduct house clearances in virtually any area – contact Jeff Stoker on 07967 751494.
