Teams out to Romania

1 July 2011

10th - 17th JULY BALS (Team of 8 people goes out)

8th - 18th J
ULY Turnu Severin (1st Team goes out)

2nd - 22nd JULY Turnu Severin (2nd Team goes out)

We also have missions teams going to Bals and Turno going out by road 12 people in total 1st - 17th August.

Struck a deal with a local church in Romania who are purchasing our campsite from us. We will be able to ring fence those dates. This is a good deal for us because it means that we are not responsble for maintaining the site or developing the site. This church has a commitment to develop further the campsite and to keep it maintained which is a huge responsibility and virtually impossible doing it from the UK. This will also release much needed funds to develop our project base in Bals.

Turnu Severin

Projects are going exceptionally well there and we will put in a full report following the teams visit in August.

Casa Noastra

All kids doing really well. The centre has had a major refurb completely recently. It has a ground flor and work has begun on some of the externals. We still urgently require more sponsors to be involved in helping us with the family costs. Raising 10 children and young people in Romania is a very expensive thing to do. Respite Care Home

Ana Tudosie is exploring the possiblility of new funding to get this project up and running. The name of this project will be referred to as 'Aylia'.
