One of the core values of LIM is partnership; partnership with the people on the ground in our projects and partnership with sponsors and donors here in the UK. This isn't just about providing finance but releasing expertise and skills as well. We love to see diverse groups of people working together for a common goal and there are lots of ways we can use your help and support.
donations and sponsorship
To make a donation to LIM please complete the form below. You will then be forwarded to Worldpay's secure servers to complete the transaction. You can give by either credit or debit card. Your card details are never stored by LIM. Currently we can accept payments in Pounds Sterling and Euro.
You can make a donation by post by sending a cheque payable to Lighthouse International Ministries to LIM, The Lighthouse, Unit 12 Centenary Park, Coronet Way, Eccles, Manchester, M50 1RE. Online donations are coming soon.
Sponsor a Child, Build A Church, Send a Servant or give regularly by standing order to a particular project or general funds. Call 0161 786 1440 to request the relevant forms.
Donate your old furniture, clothes, bric-a-brac and books for us to sell in our charity shops. Call Jeff Stoker on 07967 751 494 to arrange a mutually convenient time. Please note that this service is only available around Manchester.
gift aid
If you are a UK tax payer we are able to claim back the tax you have already paid on your donation at no extra cost to you. For every £1 you give we can receive an extra 28p from the Inland Revenue - you give the same amount but we get more! Call us on 0161 786 1440 to request a gift aid form.
refund policy
Due to the nature of charity donations refunds are given at the discretion of our management team. If you do give a donation in error you will need to provide full details of your donation and show a copy of the email that was sent to you confirming the transaction has occurred. You will be refunded the amount of your donation less any costs that we incur. If you have any questions about our refund policy then please contact our office on 0161 786 1440.
volunteer
One of the most precious things you can give is your time. Why not spend an afternoon in one of our charity shops? Perhaps you could hold an event telling people about LIM and our projects. It may even be possible for you to work at one of our projects. Whatever your idea why not call us on 0161 786 1440 to discuss how you could change lives today!
