A lovely, gentle 9 year old who lives at the home with her older brother Prasanth. She attends school and is studying in 4th grade. Her teachers are delighted with her and says she is a hard worker but also very bright. She is quick to learn new things which is obvious in all the new games we show her and she can often be found teaching the other children and all her school friends the new games or songs she has been taught. She is always keen to help others and is thoughtful of their feelings and needs. Deepika Likes to learn English and speaks it very well for her age but is also enthusiastic in teaching Tamil words and short sentences to visitors and is delighted when they learn and remember them. She enjoys watching television in the evening after dinner and can be found relaxing in the TV lounge before bed time at 9pm.
