who we are
Lighthouse International Ministries is the missions department of the Lighthouse Christian Centre, Manchester. We are partnered by a network of churches and individuals throughout Europe. With our roots firmly planted in the local church (all our Trustees have been solid members of thriving churches for many years), our heart is to strengthen, equip and facilitate indigenous people who have good ideas and exercise great commitment and discipline but have very limited resources.
We do not put our energies and resources into the traditional missionary pattern, as we believe the time has come to forge meaningful partnerships and relationships with the local people who can own and steer the missions work according to their own heart and vision. If they fulfil their destiny we believe that will be echoed in our home missions and projects, and we have already witnessed that being the case.
featured project
The current state adoption scheme in Romania does not recognise any existing family bonds between orphans. No effort is made to keep brothers and sisters together when they are adopted. Many families are split up in this way with brothers and sisters losing contact and never seeing each other again. Our Family Home seeks to address this issue by giving a home to some of the children we work with through the Antioch Centre.

LIMXpo is our student and volunteer programme enabling you to gain valuable work and life experience on one of LIM's many projects in Romania and India. Go to limxpo.org for more information.
